A Midsummer Night's Dream graphic novel review by Isobel Jeffries

A Midsummer Night's Dream is set in Ancient Greece and is about four lovers. The first two lovers are Hermia and Lysander. Hermia's father Egeus wants her to marry Demetrius, but Hermia wants to marry Lysander (Lysander is also in love with Hermia). Hermia's friend Helena wants to marry Demetrius but he does not love her. Hermia and Lysander run away into the woods and Helena tells Demetrius. Demetrius follows them pursued by Helena.
In the woods Titania, Queen of the Fairies and Oberon, King of the Goblins, are having a fierce argument over a little changeling boy. Oberon sends Puck, his manservant to fetch a flower that makes people fall madly in love with the first living creature that they see. While Puck runs off to get the flower, Demetrius and Helena enter and Demetrius starts telling Helena to go away. There is lots of chasing and falling in love with the wrong people, and lots of magic. There are some mechanicals who want to put on a play for Duke Theseus' wedding to Hippolyta and Bottom who's very full of himself, has his head turned into a donkey's head by Puck. Titania falls in love with him.
I really liked this book and it's illustrations which are very detailed and I think I would recommend it to people who enjoy a fantasy read.
