its a funny book about...
A boy called Greg who asks a girl called Abigail to come to the
Valentine's Dance with him. But it turns out to be a total disaster.
Some old people say they have a meeting in the hall where the dance is to
be held. So half the hall is for the old people, and half for the Dance -
but they have to have the lights on and the music low, which spoils the theme
of Midnight in Paris. The boy who was meant to go with Abigail, but who dumped
her, was there with another girl, and Abigail saw him, and cried for the rest
of the dance.
